Grilled Vegetables & Bacon Packet

My husband is my grill master. This is his recipe and he made it with the peppers he picked fresh from our garden. These are very easy to make and you can throw them on your grill while you are cooking the rest of your meal. The best part about making these, next to the taste of course, is that there is no pan to clean!

Roll both pieces of foil up and tightly

together on one side until you reach the food.

Do the same to the other side,

rolling in the same upward direction.

Continue with the other two sides

rolling in the same direction, upward,

completely sealing the top of the packet.

Place the foil packet on a medium-low

preheated grill, top side down for

10 minutes. Carefully turn the packet

over and grill for another 20 minutes

or until the potatoes are tender.

Remove packet from the grill and carefully

cut a vent hole in the center to allow any

steam to escape. Cut the foil away and serve.

  1. 20 minutes until lunch and this is what you post!!!! Dammit, it looks so damn good, I can practically smell it. I’ve had this before and it is a notorious dish that is eaten every day in poor homes across the world. Simple, yet it will definitely keep you healthy and lift your spirits! Great post girl, please tell your husband I’m on my way over, I’ll bring the beer!

  2. Wow this recipe looks amazing! Do you have any other side recipes from your blog you’d recommend?

  3. Yum! Looks quite simple too. I make a similar dish with chicken and sometimes when I am feeling indulgent and not fretting about the calories I sprinkle some cheese over it. Tastes delicious.
