Parmesan Cheese Chips
If you love Parmesan Cheese then you will love these Parmesan Cheese Chips! Freshly grated Parmesan Cheese is the only ingredient in these chips. How many times have you made a dish and the cheese oozed out and was crusty on the pan? Did you peel it off and eat it? That is what these taste like, crunchy and full of nothing but Parmesan Cheese flavor.
Ingredients
Grate about 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese.
Do not use the Parmesan Cheese in a container like you use for spaghetti.
Just use Parmesan Cheese grated right from the cheese block with no additives.
Line a cookie sheet with oven safe parchment paper.
Place a heaping tablespoon of grated cheese
onto the parchment paper, you should get 8 chips.
Using your fingers, lightly pat down the cheese.
Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
Watch them carefully, checking them frequently until golden brown.
Try to keep them very thin, 8 chips per 1/2 cup of cheese and they will be perfect.

They were ace but I couldn’t wait till they went crispy so will have to try again.
Haha I know what you mean they smell to good cooking. I made mine toon thick and they took 10 minutes! From now on I will make 8 chips like I should have so they get done sooner..lol
Will definitely do them again
Sounds delicious!!!
They are Julie, thank you!
😀
Thanks!
Love them, so delicious and easy to make!! 😋
Thanks!
So nice it is
Thank you!
Ohhh, i think i could keep a container with my grated cheese and throw an extra tray whenever im baking something. Have you tried with other cheeses?
No not yet but they should work the same way. Just don’t use the bagged cheese because they have an additive to keep them from sticking together. I made these with the already grated spaghetti cheese and they were a total disaster!
Alright :D, I will keep that in mind and I will let you know how my chips turn out, I cant wait to give it a try, thanks for sharing this recipe!
You are welcome!!!
I made this to go with lunch; was glad I had fresh Parmesan. Very good!
So easy too! Glad you liked them!
Love parmesan!!On the past I tried to make some zucchini chips with parmesan crust but they got burned on the edges. I’ll try to make them again by adjusting my recipe to yours!
I make Zucchini chips but I didn’t put the cheese on them. They are fantastic! I hope it works for you! Thanks!
OMG…that’s all I have to say.

Thank you Jerry!
I so want to make these. Trader Joe’s sells these in a small bag packaged and labeled. Pricey but delish!!
You will be shocked at how easy they are! They cook in a few minutes too. Just make sure you grate a block of cheese, don’t buy it in a bag or container.
I made them right after I posted my response. Hubby LOVED them too. Need more cheese STAT!
Hahaha they are addicting!
Oh yes they are. I’ll be trying this with ALL types of cheese now.
I only had parmesan in a package. It was fresh grated and refrigerated. Turned out fine!
Awesome I know they put something in the packaged cheese to keep it from sticking together. I didn’t think it would melt properly. Thank you for letting me know it did!
Loved the easy recipe and it certainly looks delicious. Thank you for stopping by at Masalachilli, truly appreciate it. Cheers.
Thank you!
