It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 09-01-23

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.
If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.
NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.
I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.
My “It’s Friday What’s For Dinner” dessert in the picture above is Cheesecake Bars.

Cheesecake is one of my favorites. Tonight I made a one skillet Chicken Shawarma with a side of Strawberry Arugula Salad. 🤓👍🏼🍻
Nice one, thank you for sharing. I hear a lot about chicken shawarma but have yet to make it.
I am going to try out a new lasagne recipe this evening – Goats Cheese, Spinach and Caramelized Red Onions. Photo with the recipe looks dreadful, but the ingredients sound lovely, so I am very hopeful!
How did it turn out? I love goats cheese!
Lately I have been into stuffed eggplant.. it is just a perfect easy wayto end the day 💕 this is the recipe I follow https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/38331/stuffed-eggplant/
Looks like an easy and delicious recipe, thank you for sharing!
Great idea! Love the versatility of bars.

Here’s some more to go with yours https://viewfromtheback.com/2020/11/28/the-musette-walnut-pie-bars/
Thank you Sheree!
Friend brought us beef steak really thick slabs from Holland . I fired lightly in garlic and butter. Then 5 hours in slow cooker .Now that tasted like almost fine British Hereford beef and we all loved it sat in garden pavilion with last of the climbing roses around us and view of new mown lawns .Now that is heaven
Yes it is!!!!!! Your beef steak sounds delicious and the beauty of the roses……oh my!
what a great blend of cheesecake and hand held treats
Thank you Beth!
Yum!
Thanks!
Tonight’s dinner will be a home made pizza. most likely with fresh plum tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and some basil. Maybe some prosciutto too. All sitting on top of home made dough. No sauce on this pizza because the fresh tomatoes will take care of that. The basil adds a nice, fresh tasting touch. But put that on after baking. Wash it all down with, maybe some red wine. I think wine will be a nice change. Maybe even some cheesecake bars for dessert.
I don’t think I have ever had pizza without pizza sauce. Using tomatoes and basil is the perfect replacement, with wine of course!
We are fasting today, trying to break through a plateau, BUT I bookmarked your cheesecake bar recipe. It sounds like an easy way to satisfy a cheesecake fix without fixing a humongous cheesecake.
I was just watching something on TV yesterday that said we should fast once a week. It told all the benefits including weight loss and living longer. This recipe is easy and was very good. I need to take a break from making desserts! I still have one to post but thank God I made it a while back and just need to write it up and post it.
Okay, you have me with these cheesecake bars – yum!
They are very addicting Mary, thank you!
The cheesecake bars look good — cheesecake made easy is nice too.
Thank you! Cheesecake is so good but I only like the original kind and the easy kind!
