Love the chocolate chip ones much more than the raisin ones.
I think the chocolate chip are like eating chocolate chip cookies. I grew up on the raisin ones and love them both the same. My grandkids never touch the oatmeal cookies but when they said what are these, I just said they have chocolate chips in them and they gobbled them up. 🤣

I used to love my mom’s oatmeal/raisin and chocolate chip cookies … if I was home when she made them, I’d have polished off a lot more of them, but I was always at work.
She probably did that on purpose🤣
I always liked coming home from school, then from work during Christmas baking time as there would be a plate with any broken or misshapen ones for me, “the baby”, even when I was old. 🙂
When my kids came home from the first day of school each year they always had homemade chocolate chip cookies. Otherwise I baked cookies when they were home. I loved the anticipation they had of devouring them while warm. My big kid husband is the same way. Lol
Now that makes sense to me. I can remember before I started kindergarten and my mom would be baking and we’d have warm cookies. I’ve not had warm cookies in a very long time. Warm chocolate chip cookies are impossible to resist!

I love them both so much but I don’t want to make two kinds of oatmeal cookies so I like to change off every year. I grew up on the oatmeal with raisins so I have to say that one is my favorite. Thank you Corna 🥰

Me too Karen, I think they both have their own unique taste and I love them both but I have never had them with both raisins and chocolate chips.
