It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 10-13-23

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.
If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.
NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.
I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

Love slow cooker meals. I don’t make them often but every time I do I wonder why I don’t more often. Early this week I made slow cooker , venison roast with potatoes, carrots and onions. So yummy and easy.
How funny you brought up venison. My son gave me about a pound of venison cubes and I have never cooked venison before. Any ideas?
Hi Diane! It’s just my daughter and I home for dinner tonight – so she is making me her Vegan Roasted Butternut Squash Soup – https://everydaylillie.com/2023/01/31/vegan-roasted-butternut-squash-soup/
It’s really easy! Happy Friday.
What a great way to use butternut squash Lillie. This sounds delicious!
Tonight…Flatbread pizzas with ricotta and tomato. Usually we make this with zucchini, but laziness set in so…
Flatbreads or pizza crust
Spoon a tbsp olive oil and spread it around on each. Add about 2-4 ozs. ricotta cheese. Sprinkle mozzarella. Layer some fresh tomatoes and some salt. Top with a little more mozzarella.
Heat up the gas or charcoal grill and place each pizza on it. Let it cook until crisp.
The final touch is, when serving, spoon a little honey over the top. Enjoy with a light white wine.
I would enclose a picture but my feeble mind does not yet comprehend this.
Honey????? I have never had pizza with honey on it but your entire pizza sounds delicious! Thank you JC for the recipe. 🥰
It looks very hearty Diane.
Thank you Linda. Have you ever had andouille sausage? You like spicy right?
Diane, I think I have had andouille sausage in gumbo … that is the only way though. Yes, I do like spicy!
This looks so tasty!
Thank you Mary!
