It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 04-21-23

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.

If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.

NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.

I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

My “It’s Friday What’s For Dinner” in the picture above is New Orleans Style Shrimp & Rice.

  1. This shrimp and rice looks delicious and I’m really hungry right now. 😉 The recipe I am sharing is Lisa’s Famous Potato Soup, which I found years ago in a Midwest Living Magazine. It’s available online if you search for it. It’s made in the crock pot and is the best potato soup I’ve ever had.

  2. I typically don’t plan a Friday meal but today I did. We’re having Scalloped Ham and Potatoes and it’s been in my collection for nearly 30 years! It’s one of hubby’s favorites.

  3. Not a good day today. I have a CT scan at 2:00 to determine if I have pneumonia or lung cancer. I don’t think I get to choose either. So, dinner tonight will be…??? (but I can be there as soon as I can after that!!)

  4. So funny, I had shrimp as well, Diane. I had shrimp and asparagus in a red roasted alfredo sauce (from a jar, I cheated) over fettucine.

  5. This looks yummy Diane. I used to like when coworkers and I went to Fishbones in Greektown years ago – the menu was all Cajun and lots of spicy dishes with shrimp.
