It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 03-31-23

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.

If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.

NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.

I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

My “It’s Friday What’s For Dinner” in the picture above is our dessert and it is BREAD PUDDING.

Bread pudding has been around for centuries. Back in the day, it was considered a poor mans pudding. They would make it by using up their stale bread which is exactly what I do! Bread Pudding can be eaten with or without the sweet sauce on top. We eat it right out of the oven while it is still hot and it always tastes absolutely delicious!

  1. Memorable in my family because my father – who hardly prepared ANYTHING for a meal – made terrific bread pudding. Often a treat with Sunday dinner.

  2. A Friday tuna melt
    Mix together…
2 cans tuna, 2 tbsp relish, 1/2 tsp horseradish, mayo to taste
Spoon the mix onto your favorite bread. Cover with swiss or provolone cheese and bake til browned on a lightly greased baking sheet. Simple. Later…bread pudding for dessert loaded with good whipped cream

  3. Bread pudding – something else I loved from the olden days. I have never had it with a sweet sauce on it though – that looks tasty. The house smelled wonderful, like when you make French toast.
