It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 9-23-22

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type one recipe you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.
If someone wants your recipe and asks there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe, however it may take me a few days to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam. NO SPAM WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.
I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.
My “It’s Friday What’s For Dinner” in the picture above is TWO INGREDIENT PUMPKIN SPICE CAKE.

First dinner party in our new home. We’re having shrimp curry with basmati rice and whatever side green thing I find at the market today!
How exciting and shrimp curry with rice sounds wonderful for a dinner party. Thank you Dorothy💕
💕❤️
Do you have the recipe for that shrimp curry? We have company coming and it sounds like a dish they would enjoy. I know I would!
I don’t Jan hopefully Dorothy will answer you.
I’m going to post the recipe in the next couple of weeks, once I transcribe my scribbles into something readable! Thanks, and stay tuned!
Awesome thank you Dorothy!
A perfect fall recipe and love the idea of two ingredients!
Thank you I never thought it would taste good but it did.
I made this recently for dinner for a friend who’s of Indian origin, and he loved it. https://viewfromtheback.com/2021/12/04/the-musette-beef-curry/
Than you for sharing your Beef Curry, it looks delicious Sheree😋
My pleasure, as always, Diane
My fork is poised. You’ve saved me a piece?
Of course! 💕

Tonight we have my four year old granddaughter. She likes pizza with pepperoni. Guess what Papa and Grandma are having.
Sounds good to me! Thank you I think we will make our own for dinner tomorrow.
Dad Cox’s Baked Beans – mix 2 cans of pork-n-beans, a 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce, 3/4 cup brown sugar, enough mustard to make a smiley face, pepper, 2 apples – diced, and a cup of raisins in a casserole dish and bake for 1 hour at 350^. All measurements are subject to your taste and feel free to throw in extra add-ins.
Oh wow Kev, so much added flavor, this sounds wonderful. All I ever do is brown sugar, ketchup and bacon. I love the idea of using BBQ sauce, apples and raisins! Thank you for sharing Dad Cox’s recipe with us.🥰
You are very welcome and enjoy!
Hot chicken curry and cauliflower rice for dinner tonight

Sounds like a delicious dish for dinner! 💕
Tis the season for pumpkin spice everything Diane, so you nailed it here!
Next up, Pumpkin Bundt Cake. I wanted to make it tonight but after fixing a meal for me and my hubby I ran out of steam. I need to get the last of our jalapeño peppers made into jalapeño poppers tomorrow so hopefully I will have time tomorrow.
I remember your jalapeno poppers – they always look so good.
Awe thank you! They are all done and I didn’t get the pumpkin cake made, poppers did me in.
There is always tomorrow. 🙂 The pumpkin season has just begun.
Looks delicious!!
