Imitation Crab Flatbread Pizza
This turned out better than I ever expected! This was one of those recipe creations that I came up with laying in bed one night. I wish everyone could taste this as it was so good! Using Imitation Crab made it very inexpensive, however, if you live where crab won’t bankrupt you then use freshly cooked crab!
Ingredients
Brush all of the vegetable oil over the bottom
of a large baking sheet.Sprinkle evenly with the salt.
Lay the flatbread on the pan.
Combine the butter, olive oil and garlic powder in a small bowl.
Brush the butter mixture over the
flatbread completely covering the tops.
Sprinkle the flatbread with the freshly grated parmesan cheese.
Stack the spinach leaves on top of each other with stems removed.
Slice the pile of spinach Julienne style.
Place the spinach pieces on the flatbread.
Place the cut up pieces of tomatoes on top.
Place the cut up chunks of imitation crab on top.
Make sure the crab is chunks or they will dry out when you bake them.
Sprinkle evenly with the mozzarella cheese.
Bake in a preheated 450 degree oven for 10 minutes.
Remove each pizza to a serving plate and enjoy!

It does look good! We’ve been up for hours and had a super early breakfast, so Hubby just asked what was for lunch. I’ve got everything to make this except spinach leaves. But I do have Swiss Chard that I could substitute! 🙂

I actually have a guilty fondness for artificial crab–but, yeah, almost go with the real thing when you can.

Oh if you ever get a chance go. It is my favorite seafood restaurant because they always serve fresh and not frozen seafood, Where I live that doesn’t ever happen!
