Slow Cooker Chicken Wings

IMG_2053

Slow Cooker Chicken Wings are so easy to make. They are tender and delicious! I love cooking them in a slow cooker. Who needs all that grease when they are fried? The secret to delicious Chicken Wings in the slow cooker is to place them under the broiler for a few minutes before serving them. This crisps up the skin and give them a golden color. After all, the skin is the best part of the wings!

Put a little wing sauce on the bottom of the slow cooker, put the Chicken Wings in and stir them around making sure all of the wings are lightly coated. (You can add more wing sauce just before popping them under the broiler or after they are broiled if you want.) You do not need to add any other liquid to the slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the wings are tender, but not falling off the bones.

Carefully remove the Chicken Wings from the slow cooker so that the meat stays on the bone. Place them on a foil covered baking sheet. Put them under the preheated broiler, watching carefully, until your desired crispness. Turn them over and broil the other side. Add more wing sauce if needed. It’s that simple!
