Easy Creamy Homemade Coleslaw

Don’t ever buy coleslaw dressing again when it is this easy and super delicious too!

In a small bowl add the mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar.

Whisk until smooth and creamy.

Pour the shredded cabbage into a large bowl.

Pour the dressing onto the cabbage and using a large spoon, mix well. Refrigerate a few hours or overnight.

Ingredients

  • 14-16 oz shredded cabbage mix
  • 2½ Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1 cup mayonnaise 
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup sugar (to your taste)

    • I had bought it all my adult life until I came up with this one. It was so expensive for a dressing but we bought a name brand which always costs more.

  1. I have always loved coleslaw, my stepmom used to make a 14 day coleslaw, that’s what it was called. I think the recipe was similar to this yours

    • I think the 14 day recipe uses much more vinegar than my recipe. The 14 day may even be considered fermented but I’m not positive about that. We were thrilled when I made this the first time. We always bought Marzetti’s in the past but never again.
