Oh my, i love everything with puff pastry 😋
I agree, it had the best taste.
Novel!
Thank you Sheree!
Looking really tasty with a gentle texture
Thank you Derrick!
I don’t think I’ve had a Reuben before but I do love corned beef. Never thought of using Thousand Island dressing as a sandwich condiment!
Reubens are very popular in Ohio. I would never use Thousand Island on a sandwich except a Reuben. It is the combination of the rye bread, corned beef, sauerkraut and Thousand Island that has a super delicious taste!
I forget you live in Ohio. I was supposed to present at/attend a 3-day conference in Columbus for work the first week of April.
I cancelled after my mom got very sick, thinking she would move in with us in the Spring time.
Otherwise, I would’ve been in your part of the world!
That’s too bad you had to cancel but the right thing to do at that time.
I’m making corned beef tomorrow, and it I have enough left, this will be on the menu.
Enjoy Carla I can’t wait to make mine too. We bought four corned beef, froze the extra’s. I prefer eye of round corned beef and all we could find locally is the flat cut. My husband went out of town to take his mom grocery shopping and found the eye of round! I was so excited because I didn’t think I was going to have my Reubens this year!!!
Lucky you, enjoy it.
Thank you Carla 🥰
yummm
Thank you Beth!
Nothing beats a good reuben, warm from the oven, oozing with cheese and juices. I have had it with pastrami also, but not quite as good as the corned beef. Wearing green today and tomorrow?
No, I don’t like the color green and don’t have any clothes green. 🤣 My grandson is here and the eggs are hard boiled. Having spaghetti and meatballs for supper then he’s coloring eggs and making himself some deviled eggs. My floor is covered in a Lego city with a helicopter, transformer, trucks etc. that he built and he just fell asleep out on the couch. You just have to love kids! ❤️
Yeah. Kids are great. But I like them better as grand kids than as my own! Now, you and your husband better go play with those legos before he wakes up!
You’re so funny!
Yum.
Thank you!
This one looks delicious! I was in my 20’s before I had a Reuben. The ingredients, to one who has never had a Reuben, really do not sound appetizing, but it turns out they are perfection. Your recipe will be a nice variation.
It sure is a great combination and I don’t recall having a reuben until I moved out of my parents house too. Thank you Linda!
Oh my – this looks delicious. I have been craving something tasty like this and last time at Meijer, I looked for onion buns – none to be found. Maybe they were out of them that day. The kind that smell up your car from the time you drive from the store to your home.
Thank you! You crack me up Linda, the kind that smell up the car! 🤣
Can’t you just picture it Diane? We used to buy them loose at a deli that has since closed. Mmmm. 🙂
Looks like a Reuben pastry. Excellent!
Thank you Ted!
That looks delicous!
Thank you I actually had a reuben sandwich for lunch today. My husband bought me 5 corned beef on St Patty’s Day week. I froze all but one and still have one more sandwich to make.
