Thank you Sheree đŸ¥°
Oh my, mouthwatering đŸ˜‹
It really was, you can’t beat Amish or Mennonite recipes. Thank you Ribana đŸ¥°
This looks so delicious, Diane. Cooking with sausages is one of my favourite things and in creamy sauce too. I bet the starch in the potatoes also makes the sauce even creamier.
We are such suckers for potato recipe and when I found this one I was thrilled because it was so different than any I had made before. Thank you Ab!
I haven’t seen a Mennonite recipe in years. Do you live in a Mennonite area?
No but we are about 1-1/2 hours from Amish and Mennonite Country and we visit often. We never go to the tourist area’s so whenever we stop at the small shops and I see a cookbook I have to buy it. Lol
It is hard to beat Mennonite recipes. It’s almost as if they have Heaven’s recipes!
I agree, I think it’s because they cook from scratch and rarely open up boxed or processed food.
Bring on home cooking and meat and potatoes – yummy!
Oh yes especially on these cold days! Thank you Mary!
Yum – I was thinking when I saw the name you might have gotten the cookbook on your vacation.
I have so many Amish cookbooks. I finally stopped buying them when we visit Amish Country. Lol Thanks Linda
I can understand why this dish is so popular in your home! Potatoes and sausage in one pan can only be delicious … sounds like a recipe to make later in the week!
Awe thank you Corna, it was a really good combination, enjoy!
That is definitely a hearty “stick to your ribs” kind of meal! Makes you want to go back to your barn raising or farm duties after you eat it đŸ™‚
As hard as the Amish and Mennonite men work, I’m sure they appreciate a meal like this at the end of the day.
Thank you so much!
