Baked No Peek Chicken & Rice

This is the simplest meal you can make with Chicken & Rice. Everything goes into one baking dish, cover it tightly with foil and bake, it’s that easy not to mention delicious.

I love such easy (and delicious) recipes. Chicken and rice … there must be a 100 ways – or more – to combine these two ingredients, but I have to say, your recipe looks like one of the best!
I love to cut my watermelon up into bite sized pieces and keep it in a bowl in the refrigerator. Then I put some in a bowl and eat it with a fork. Thank you Corna!
Delicious 😋😋😋
Thank you!
Delicious 😋 – Even faster with an Instant Pot
I bought one new and we didn’t care for any of the recipes I tried in it. I know a lot of people think I’m crazy. Did you know the parent company filed for Chapter 11? They are trying to reconstruct the company. So for those of you who love it, I hope they continue to prosper. Thank you!
Yes, I agree. Some recipes I have tried did not turn out really well. I have tried frittatas and they are ok but I still like using the stovetop and finishing them off in the oven.
My favorite small appliances are my Ninja Foodi, my Ninja 4 in 1 slow cooker and my Dash Deluxe Egg steamer.
I have a Ninja juicer that we thought was a blender when we bought it 😂😂 – I also have an old model and trust slow cooker
Hahaha Thanks for making me laugh!
😋
Thank you GP!
I love this go to chicken recipe! Blessings, Diane!
Thank you Karla and to you as well!
Oh I see it worked! Tee hee! On my end it acted as if it failed. I’m going to try chicken thighs in my air fryer. Have you done this? Many hugs and prayers!💛🙏🏻
Yes and they turned out delicious. Here is my recipe link – https://indianeskitchen.com/2020/03/02/air-fryer-chicken-thighs/
Oh thank you, Diane! 💛
You’re welcome!
This looks delicious! A perfect meal for a chilly Fall day!
Thank you Betty, my Mom gave me the recipe.
Your recipe is very timely. I was cleaning our cupboard last week and found a pouch of dried onion soup mix and was wondering what to do with it! Chicken thighs are my cut of choice and I’ll have to try this recipe out.
Perfect Ab, I hope you enjoy it!
Nice and easy recipe. And it looks good on the plate too!
Thank you so much!
Always the best!
Chicken and rice – amazingly tasty!
It is a recipe from my mom, very tasty. Thank you Mary!
Mom’s recipes are the best!
Some days we need EASY! Thank you!
I agree Nancy! Thank you 🥰
Not sure my comment came through on the post. I love a one pot meal and this one looks delicious. Not too complicated either. Thanks Diane, hugs, C
You’re welcome Cheryl!
Almost no cleanup!😊
Yes! The perfect meal!
Cute title – “no peek” … simple is right up my alley Diane.
It sure is Linda! My mom said she makes 4 thighs, they each eat one and she freezes the other two for another meal.
Thrify and tasty!
What ya think, 6 hrs in a crockpot?
When I use mine I cook 8 hours on low and 4 hours on high and you may need more liquid to cook the rice completely. I would check the temperature of the chicken and see if the rice is done after 6 hours on low and go from there. I tried putting pasta in the crockpot and it was awful. It was mushy and the entire recipe was so starchy we couldn’t eat it. I’m not sure if rice would do the same thing. Please let me know how it turns out if you try it in the crock pot I’d love to know.
I mentioned this to my wife and she reminded me that crockpot and rice is bad. The rice disolves more times than not. Even when using long grain.
Yes I will not cook rice or pasta in mine. I’m glad she convinced you, I hate when a good meal gets wasted! Thank you for letting me know Danny!
