It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 6-2-23

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.

If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.

NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.

I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

My It’s Friday What’s For Dinner is BAKED PARMESAN & BACON ITALIAN POTATOES.

  1. That sounds delicious, Diane. We will probably hit a fish fry tonight. Give the oven the night off.

    • Thank you Kev. A fish fry is so good as long as it is somebody else frying it. I don’t like frying food because of the mess. My son is having us for a fish fry this weekend, can’t wait! Have a great weekend!

      • Diane, I am with you on the fish fry. It tastes delicious, but the clean up can be a nightmare and you have to figure out what to do with all that grease that smells like fish! I’m sure you will enjoy it since your son is hosting it. Have a great weekend.

  2. A little different today. Yesterday we took a trip to Lexington, NC for a day trip. We stopped at Lexington bbq for lunch and the best bbq around. Amazing delicious and the best hush puppies! But…so much food that we took a load home. Those leftovers will be dinner tonight.
By the way, remember those 5 pounds I wanted to lose? Doing great. Only 10 more to go!

  3. Looks great! I made Eggplant Parmesan for the first time. I wanted to cut the recipe I found in half, then it grew and I substituted 2 zucchini for one of the 3 eggplants the recipe called for. Not a good idea since it takes much longer for zucchini to bake than eggplant. Despite the crunchiness of the zucchini, it was very good. I shared the dish with a friend, and they said they liked the crunchiness of the zucchini. I must admit they could be right… 🙂 I planted 2 eggplants in the garden, so I will be looking for more eggplant recipes.

    • Haha I was inspired by the Dominos commercial where they are selling them made with pizza toppings. That didn’t sound good to me so I thought I’d try tater tots and I’m glad I did. Thank you Karla!
