It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 04-28-23

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.

If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.

NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.

I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

My “It’s Friday What’s For Dinner” in the picture above is ITALIAN MARINADE FOR CHICKEN.

  1. Sounds good .Tonight with rest of roast chicken from last nights meal .Indian Madras curry .chicken and Basmati rice boiled in pork stock . Add as many red chilli as needed .Cucumbers in yogurt and parsley dressing as side dish .Love it from my days in Bombay and British Empire last days

  2. Ooooh. This looks good. We had thighs last night. Maybe tonight I’ll try this with boneless breasts.
Or…I bought smoked ham hocks yesterday. That is a possibility with some black-eye peas. Real easy…
Place the jocks in a foil lined roasting pan. Fill about 1/4 with unsalted water. Slice an onion and mix in bbq sauce of your choice, try sweet baby Ray’s with bourbon, and some garlic powder. Cover and roast at 350 for about 2 1/2 hours. Then turn the hocks and put them back in the oven for about 20 minutes. Prepare peas as you like or as directed.

  3. We went out last night and I had Halibut and chips. I just bought some boneless, skinless thighs, I wonder if that would work?
