Sheet Pan Asparagus With Bacon
It’s asparagus season and I just picked my first bunch. I love this recipe because it is roasted on a sheet pan with bacon, cheese and seasonings but more important, it tastes great! I will be picking my asparagus until June 4th.

I never used to eat asparagus when I was a kid, but now I love it. And when you add bacon, everything is better 😉.
The bacon adds so much flavor. I have so much that grows every year I make it as many ways as possible so I don’t get sick of it.

Wow – asparagus already? Was it earlier due to that warm week we had in early April?
One picking and now it’s on hold so yes, it was the warm days that made it pop out. It was nice to get an early taste though!
A fellow blogger in Pennsylvania mentioned that their local farmers are already selling strawberries – they had that heat wave like we did.
Holy cow that’s early. They must be in southern PA.
