Air Fryer Curly Or Thin Fries

Potatoes cut into thin strips, tossed with a little oil, seasoned and air fried. Whether you make thin or thick fries in the air fryer, they are healthier and delicious!

Scrub 4 medium potatoes, pat dry with a paper towel, peel (optional), slice into thin fries shape then place in a large bowl.

Add 1 Tbsp. oil to the potatoes and toss.

Add the seasonings of your choice and toss.

Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil. Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 400º. Add the seasoned potatoes.

Air fry for 8 minutes and toss gently. Continue to air fry in 2-3 minute increments until golden brown or to your liking. Mine took about 16 minutes but all air fryers are different.

These look delicious. I do prefer the taste of curly fries I think as they are thinner than regular, so you get more of the skin.

Thank you and I agree. It is so strange how just by cutting potatoes differently, makes them taste different isn’t it? My grandson was here for this meal and he doesn’t care for the skin (we do!). Of course grandma accommodated his likes. 😂

Same thing for grated vs sliced cheese. Grandparents always seem to be extra caring to their grandkids, and I am on your preference list with that one ! You are very welcome

Thank you! Not sure, I don’t have a veggie slicer. Probably one of the few gadgets I don’t have. Lol I will do a post on Sunday about how I did mine.

Oh these look so delicious! How did you curl the potato strips? I can’t wait to try these. Curly fries are such a treat.
I used our new air fryer for the first time this week and made chicken wings. I’ll share a post maybe in near future.
Happy weekend!

Looks like a nice healthy option to a favorite American side dish.
Ancient Rome had many gods and goddesses. Bacchus was the god of wine.
Maybe in our more modern times, Diane could become our goddess of cuisine!
