Air Fryer Curly Or Thin Fries

Potatoes cut into thin strips, tossed with a little oil, seasoned and air fried. Whether you make thin or thick fries in the air fryer, they are healthier and delicious!

Scrub 4 medium potatoes, pat dry with a paper towel, peel (optional), slice into thin fries shape then place in a large bowl.

Add 1 Tbsp. oil to the potatoes and toss.

Add the seasonings of your choice and toss.

Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil. Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 400º. Add the seasoned potatoes.

Air fry for 8 minutes and toss gently. Continue to air fry in 2-3 minute increments until golden brown or to your liking. Mine took about 16 minutes but all air fryers are different.

Thank you for the reblog Ned!
Reblogged this on https:/BOOKS.ESLARN-NET.DE.
You’re the best Michael, thank you!
Looks really good and tasting good too! Ha! I love fries! How did you get to cut it into that curly pattern though?
Thank you Tammy. Stay tuned, posting the method Sunday.
<3 welcome always and lol I missed that post due to my inactivity but that is going to change soon lol
Great it is nice to hear from you again. 💕
Haha same here! Stay blessed!
Diane, did you use some kind of spiralizer to get the curly fries?
I will do a post on them Sunday. Stay tuned! Lol
Curly wurly chips
My grandson cut them too! He thought it was fun. More to follow on Sunday’s post!
Excellent
These look delicious. I do prefer the taste of curly fries I think as they are thinner than regular, so you get more of the skin.
Thank you and I agree. It is so strange how just by cutting potatoes differently, makes them taste different isn’t it? My grandson was here for this meal and he doesn’t care for the skin (we do!). Of course grandma accommodated his likes. 😂
Same thing for grated vs sliced cheese. Grandparents always seem to be extra caring to their grandkids, and I am on your preference list with that one ! You are very welcome
OMG you’re right, I never thought about cheese tasting different too but it does! Thank you for your kind words!
Very welcome 🙂
Those look great! I wonder if my veggie slicer can do potato curls…
Thank you! Not sure, I don’t have a veggie slicer. Probably one of the few gadgets I don’t have. Lol I will do a post on Sunday about how I did mine.
Oh these look so delicious! How did you curl the potato strips? I can’t wait to try these. Curly fries are such a treat.
I used our new air fryer for the first time this week and made chicken wings. I’ll share a post maybe in near future.
Happy weekend!
YAY!!!! Wings are the best! I will do a post (hopefully Sunday) on the curly fries process.
You didn’t use a hair curler did you? 😆
Hahaha One never knows!
Those look amazing!
Thank you Viola! They turned out so good, even without all the grease. Lol
Looks tasty! Pass the spicy mayo!
Thank you Dorothy, I have to try the spicy mayo I always use ketchup!
You’ll never look back!
I am on a wrap kick for lunch lately. I always spread mayo and then add sriracha sauce so I know I will like it.
Sriracha mayo is my favorite!
I put it on all my sandwiches.
Looks like a nice healthy option to a favorite American side dish.
Ancient Rome had many gods and goddesses. Bacchus was the god of wine.
Maybe in our more modern times, Diane could become our goddess of cuisine!
Thank you for your nice comment but don’t hold your breath! 😂
Thank you! YUMMY!!!!!
You’re so welcome!
An airfryer is one my favorite kitchen tools. I love this recipe for these cute spiralized french fries.
Thank you Bernadette! The person that invented the air fryer is a genius (and very rich too).
This is great. I didn’t know raw potatoes could go in an air fryer.
Oh yes! I even make potato chips in mine.
Curlyyyy
I agree Saania!
Thank you for the reblog!
I never thought of ‘shaping’ potatoes like that – looks really interesting … and so delicious 😋!
It’s funny how the different cuts of potatoes change the taste too. Thank you Corna!
These look delish, Diane! I still need to get an air fryer.
Yes you do Kellye, it makes cooking food so easy. Thank you 💕
Mmmmm – looks like they came out so good
Thank you they really did, but to be honest, I don’t recall anything cooked in the air fryer that hasn’t. Lol
Yes! The air fryer can be such a gift
They look delicious Diane – curly fries at A&W were always my favorite.
Fries, they had fries? Haha I never got past the root beer milkshakes! I still get root beer today. Thank you Linda!💕
Yes, try them Diane – a little spicy too! I love root beer floats too!
