It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 8-12-22

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.
If someone wants your recipe and asks there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe, however it may take me a few days to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam. NO SPAM WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.
I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.
I will not be commenting on your ”It’s Friday What’s For Dinner” recipe as this is your recipes to share with everyone.

Had pear cobbler but never tried peaches in it. Something to try as sounds good
That’s funny I never tried pear cobbler. 🤣
That peach cobbler looks delish. He’s my contribution https://viewfromtheback.com/2020/02/08/the-musette-tuscan-feast-part-ii/
Thank you Sheree 💕
Always a pleasure Diane
Today, I am going to try to make a lasagna, something I have never done before. I have a makeshift recipe, garnered from family members, and I have a rough idea of what it should look like…
They are fun to make and it will be delicious! Good luck 💕
Thanks for the encouragement, Diane!
You’re welcome.
It’s very warm in the Netherlands, so we will prepare a cold soup, made with blue cheese, cucumber and avocado. Very nutritious and tasty, ideal to enjoy al fresco. https://cookanddrink.org/2020/07/22/avocado-and-cucumber-soup/
lemon fish
Bread crumbs
1 whole lemon, squeezed
1/2 cup Pinot Grigio
Garlic powder, salt to taste
Combine the wine, lemon and spice
About 1 pound fish, flounder or trout will do very nicely
Soak the fish in the lemon mixture for about 10 minutes
Coat lightly with bread crumbs
Bake on a lined, slightly greased cookie sheet at 425 degrees for about
20 minutes or until fish is flakey.
This peach cobbler looks amazing. Jersey peaches are in their full glory right now. I will definitely be making this. Also in New Jersey corn is at its peak of flavor, so this easy and delicious chowder might make a good Friday dinner: https://newclassicrecipe.com/2021/07/26/corn-and-clam-chowder-oh-what-a-beautiful-morning/
Thank you Bernadette our peaches and corn is in it’s prime as well. I have so much I want to make like BLT’s and shrimp boil with all these good veggies. ❤️
I’m making a “Chinese Ginger Pork” stir fry, using a small cut of pork tenderloin, ginger, scallions and traditional Chinese sauces like oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, and spices like Five Spice. I’ve been thinking about this all week. 😆 Happy Friday!
And now so am I!!!!! Lol
It turned out great! I’ll share it maybe in a future post.
I would love that!
Hi Diane, love this idea! For all of those with extra zucchini on hand here is a simple, easy salad to try, zucchini ribbon salad with mint, walnuts and feta.

Thank you Linda. I never ate zucchini raw before, now I have to try it. Lol 💕
Mouthwatering!
Thank you 🥰
I made a peach crisp today, but I will try your peach cobbler recipe in a couple of days, it looks yummy, Diane.
Thank you Carla. Don’t forget the ice cream and let me know how you like it.💕
Soon I am going to figure out how to participate! Cobbler looks so cozy for a Friday night movie!
All you need to do is comment on a meal you made. It doesn’t have to be from Friday just a homemade meal. It gives us all ideas of what to make. Thank you Laurel❣️
Ok!
