I add to minced meat chopped parsley flat leafy type from garden. Garlic powder and ginger crushed . Then mix in and make balls with icecream baller tool. So all same size with out the fuss. Never made this type of dish you have told us of now. Maybe Ill give it a try . Thank you for the recipe. Today made Queens scones and baked in oven lovely .Blackcurrant jam and clotted cream on top of each halved scone for what we English call cream tea at 4pm with Earl Grey tea or Morning Breakfast Assam and two other types of leaf ,goes so well with cream teas. Strawberry jam is usual but over last winter ate it all . Hope in retirement you are happy cooking . I retired in 2015 and best job yet .Gardening and cooking keep me active and feed
Sounds delicious Kevin! I don’t know where you find the time to cook so much with all the gardening you do. I would love to see more pictures of your gardens, I really enjoyed the last ones.
Thank you for reblogging❤️
Sounds great. I’ve been buying frozen meatballs from time to time, using them in salads or with rice and veggies, etc. I love their taste and ease.
I agree and they taste really good too! Thank you Katelon. 💕
Oh yes, this appeals to my non-Italian, meatball-loving self. We have an Italian festival this weekend – not around me and besides, we’ve had a rainy weekend. Anyway, the menu and contests for meatball-eating and canolli-eating sounded delicious and fun.
I would have loved to go to that festival Linda. I wish we had things like that where I live. Too many tourist attractions here. Thank you Linda💕
This is an old favourite! My grandmother used to make this quite a lot, especially when all of her 12 grandchildren visited her (but I think she made her own meatballs and used them immediately) … I like the idea of frozen meatballs (big time saver)!
I usually make meatballs and freeze them but I was out and needed a easy meal, so good! This makes a lot so I can see why your grandmother would feed all her grandchildren this.
This looks really hearty and satisfying!
Thank you Dorothy, it makes a lot but the one “small” bowl I got (my husband devoured the rest) was just as good as the day I made it. 😂
Got to be quick!
Sort of like Nonna’s meatball parmigiana. A can’t miss dinner!
Only she made her own meatballs. I usually do but this needed to be a quick and easy meal and it was, thank you! 💕
Yep, this is a keeper. Add a salad, and I’m done! Thank you!
Thank you and I agree Betty, the perfect meal. You’re welcome💕
This looks delicious! Chicken penne is something we often have. I never thought about making it with meatballs before! So thanks!
You’re welcome Ab. You could use chicken meatballs. Lol
What an easy, but delicious looking recipe. I need to have my kids over more often.
This makes a lot but we enjoyed the leftovers. Thank you Carla.
Looks good Diane, quick and east too 🙂
Thank you June!
I’m gonna have to try this one!
This is very hearty with all the meatballs, my husband LOVED it and so did I. The leftovers were just as good but we added a little mare sauce as the pasta soaked up a lot of the sauce, enjoy Kev!
I’m watching the kids at my son’s house today. They have all these ingredients in stock. I’m making this for dinner. The family won’t know what hit them! ⚡️
Awesome Nancy, let me know how they liked it. I’m sure there was enough!
They wolfed it down, Diane! A total success. So glad I tried it. Thanks! 💕
Wonderful thanks for letting me know Nancy. 💕
Yum! Who doesn’t love pasta? Thanks, Diane!!
Thank you, we had plenty of leftovers too.
Looks deliciously, cheesy good!
Thank you, it was even better the next day. 💕
What a delicious complete meal 😋
Thank you! 💕

A little bit of green adds to the dish!
Thank you! 💕
This sounds like extreme yumminess!
Thank you it was so good and my husband devoured it! 💕
