It’s Friday, What’s For Dinner

I am thinking about starting a weekly post on Fridays and I want to know if it interests you. Anyone that makes a homemade dinner may post what they will be making that night, by leaving the name of the meal prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through for meal ideas.

If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links to the recipe, however, it may take me a few days to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam. NO SPAM WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.

I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. I have had many comments, when I make a post, about how they used to make that all the time and they forgot about it.

Please respond, by typing YES you would like this or NO you would not, in the comments so I can get some feedback of what everyone thinks of this idea.

Thank you in advance for your input.

  1. Interesting idea. I’m cooking all beef, no nitrate hot dogs, cutting them up into a salad of romaine, tomatoes, avocados, organic corn chips and a spicy dressing of mayo and bar-b-que sauce….easy peasie 🙂

    • You say the kindest things GP! However, it’s OK to put down any meal you made as somebody may have missed seeing my recipe. Since it will be a weekly post, you may find yourself adding the same meal more than once. I look forward to seeing what you make!

  2. Yes. I love to get ideas for something new to make – as long as it’s easy. Thanks for asking, and have a nice weekend!

    • If it gets to be too much I may have to eliminate links. I won’t be responding to any of the comments left with the food made either like I do with my food posts. I really hope it works out as I know figuring out what to make is my toughest part of cooking. I’m hoping to start next week but I am having hand surgery on my dominate hand next week too so it may take two weeks.

    • You don’t have to share recipes, it’s just whatever you had for dinner. Even if it’s a box of mac and cheese and maybe you put hotdogs in it. I think it will be fun to see what people eat and most of all get ideas.

      • Whew – I’d be up a creek if it were recipes. I am using the crock pot a lot … until the little ants arrive as I have nowhere else to plug it in. 🙂

  3. I love this idea! I always make a weekly menu and sometimes it’s so hard figuring out what to make. I hate having the same things every week so this would challenge me to try new dishes.
