Tortilla Chili Dogs

Hot dogs wrapped in a tortilla, covered with chili, topped with cheese and onion (optional) then baked in the oven. If you love Chili Dogs, you will love this simple recipe as a meal or an appetizer.

Pour half of the chili onto the
bottom of a 4-quart baking dish.

Place one hot dog on a tortilla and roll
it up. Small tortilla’s work best but all I
had was large ones and they still tasted
great. Repeat with the rest of the hot dogs.

Once rolled place them on top
of the chili, seam side down.

Pour the other half of chili on the
top making sure all of the
tortilla’s get covered.

Add the cheese to the top.

Cover and bake in a preheated
400º oven for 30 minutes.

Remove from the oven and check
out all that yummy cheese!

Serve whole immediately adding
some of the chili to each plate.

Or cut into small pieces, place a
toothpick in the top and serve
as an appetizer.

Thank you Micheal, I hope you are having a great weekend! ❤️
Thank you as well, Diane! Have a beautiful weekend as well. xx Michael
Thank you, Diane for sharing this recipe. I have shared it on my blog with a comment to you.
Thank you and I hope you like it as much as we did. I guarantee you can make this easily! ❤️
You are welcome! Easy is one thing I like about it.. I also like the idea of chili dogs not on a bun. I have to limit my bread intake.
So many possibilities with this Diane!
That’s for sure, my husband said it was perfect AFTER he dumped raw onions on his, I don’t like raw onions. Thank you Dorothy!
HaHa! Onions or not!
This looks surprisingly good 🙂
Thank you Jacquie! I love chili dogs but didn’t have any buns. This tasted so good my husband said he definitely wants it again. ❤️
They sure have a nice presentation – and seem easy to make Diane
Thank you and yes, very easy and quick.
Chili cheese dogs are a favorite last minute meal in my house. This is nice; it dresses them up a bit.
And works well if you don’t have buns! Lol Thank you❤️
Once again you hit it out of the park!
Awe thank you!
All my favorite things in one recipe! You knocked this one out of the park Diane! 💕C
Thank you Cheryl!
Mmm, that looks yummy and very comforting! T is into hotdogs these days and this may be another way to introduce other ingredients such as chili into his palette. Thanks Diane!
I was surprised my grandson (7) actually ate one! Thank you Ab and enjoy your Sunday!
Thanks for sharing this recipe.
You’re welcome it is very easy to make and tastes great.
Thank you for sharing my recipe💕
I’m sure these went over big with the grandkids – they would go over big with me. I haven’t had an A&W “loaded” coney for ages … the cheese dripping on top of the chili makes me hungry Diane.
I love chili dogs, way more than just a hot dog. This was such a nice change in taste but still tasted like a chili dog. Thank you Linda ❤️
I like chili dogs too and though I was getting the whole-grain buns as they were healthier, I found them to be too dry and too much bread – the white hot dog buns were better, but the tortilla is better yet. I’ve never been a fan of submarine sandwiches as I thought they were too much bun.
