Jalapeño Poppers With Grilled Cheese Sandwich

This is one of my favorite garden sandwiches made with grilled buttered bread, tomatoes, Jalapeño Poppers, cheese and mayonnaise or Miracle Whip.
I made my first batch of Jalapeño Poppers this year and saved some so that I could add them to my Grilled Cheese Sandwich. This sandwich is made with our homegrown jalapeños and tomatoes. If you love both Jalapeño Poppers and a Grilled Cheese Sandwich then you will love them together!

The sandwich is not too hot? Jalapeno are very spicy, I only throw the tops without seeds, of course in moderate amounts. I’m probably not used to hot spices.
Best regards

I love the taste of the jalapeño pepper and like you, I discard the seeds so by the time you add the poppers to the sandwich there is very little heat.

Well that looks yummy … and spicy! Get a tall glass of water before beginning this delicious looking sandwich.

I remove the seeds which is the hottest part of the pepper. By the time you add all that cheese and bread they aren’t hot at all. Thanks Linda!

I just discovered fried pickles and eat them whenever I go out and can find them. I never thought about putting them on a grilled cheese sandwich!!! Looks like I have to try it! Do you use dill pickles?

It is a delicious way to use leftover poppers, if you have any. The only reason I did is that I am the only one that eats them. It was. truly a delicious combination. Thank you!
