Creamy Ranch & Pea Salad
If you are a ranch dressing lover then you will love this Creamy Ranch and Pea Salad. It is a delicious combination of peas, bacon, onion (optional), cheese and ranch dressing. The best part is that it can be made ahead of time and it doesn’t take very long to make. Keep it in the refrigerator until you are ready to eat. My brother in law introduced this recipe to me years go.

I can’t say that a pea salad was something I ever considered before! But the ranch dressing and the bacon combination with the pea sound like a yummy match! Happy new year and all the best in 2021!

The fact that it is served cold gives the peas a crisp texture and after all, anything with bacon is always good…lol Happy New Year to you, hubby and T!

My mom would have gone for this bigtime! She loved peas and onions. I see you sneaked bacon in her, but not broccoli. 🙂

This would be delicious with the little pearl onions!

Oh yes, my last crockpot dinner I put the canned peas with the mushrooms and pearl onions in … when I was buying canned veggies I thought of my mom and got the tin. She would get it as a treat every so often … me, if I’m feeling like onions, I have the Durkee Fried Onions. 🙂

This is the sort of salad you see at a potluck and go “ewwww cold peas” and then you try and bite and have to keep sneaking back to the buffet table for me (yep that was me!) 🙂
