Five Minute Breakfast Burrito
A Five Minute Breakfast Burrito cooked completely in microwave using leftover cooked meat, scrambled microwaved eggs, cheese, salt and pepper all wrapped up in a tortilla and microwaved to melt the cheese. This turned out better than I could ever have imagined and the grandkids loved them so much I have been making them each one everyday! I made bacon, egg and cheese along with sausage, egg and cheese burritos. They were such a quick, easy and delicious breakfast.
Ingredients
In a small bowl whisk the eggs and a little
half & half (milk or cream will work too).
Microwave on high for 60 seconds, whisk
with a fork and microwave until set, about
another 45 seconds more. Place the
egg and cheese on the tortilla.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Microwave the cooked meat (if cold)
until hot, about 30 seconds. Place
it on top of the cheese.
Fold the tortilla and top with more cheese.
Microwave until the cheese melts,
about one minute, then serve.

Funny. We had breakfast tacos this morning!
Oh wow I never had breakfast tacos. I don’t know why but I have only eaten them at supper time. Thanks for a great idea!
So good!

Wow! Just like my college days…minus the parsley, of course!
It needed a little color! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Super simple. Will give it a try. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome they are a HUGE hit here.
That looks so yummy, I love burritos…I made something similar last weekend 💖
This looks delicious and so easy!
Thank you it is so good & very easy!!!
This looks so good! And so way, too. I’ll have to try this for breakfast. I’m getting bored of cereal and oatmeal. 🤣
I cook sausage links and freeze them in serving size bags. I do the same with bacon. We have been eating these every day since I thought of them. They are so filling and good. Thanks Michelle❤️
I wish that I wasn’t rrying to diet!
There must be a way to make this healthy like turkey sausage…lol
It looks delicious – no wonder the grandkids love these – portable eggs. 🙂
We are hooked too…lol Thanks!
great idea, Diane!
I don’t know why I always thought of using the wrap as being more complicated
Thanks! Yes they are so simple and you can make so many recipes with them.
What a great idea for a hearty breakfast.
Awesome
We’ve been making quick breakfasts for a few weeks now. Everyone in my family works from home and due to the time difference they have to work at night. So, the mornings are always a rush and quite late.
I am so going to use this recipe! Thank you!
I’m glad it will help. Cook up your meat and freeze it. It is so simple that way. Freeze it in serving size packages. I use sandwich bags then place them into a freezer bag.
Thanks for the tip!❤️
You’re welcome!
