Poppy Seed Noodles With Ham & Peas
Need a quick and easy last minute meal to throw together? Try this one! It kind of resembles a Carbonara but it’s not. I was given this recipe years ago from a brunch I had attended. The original recipe doesn’t call for ham or peas. It was just a side dish with noodles so I decided to make it a meal by adding the ham and peas.
In a medium pot on medium heat, melt the butter.
Add the chicken broth and water to the melted butter.
Add noodles and bring to a boil cooking until noodles are cooked al dente. Add frozen peas and stir until they break apart.
Add the ham and stir, cooking another minute or two until hot.
Remove from the heat and stir in the sour cream.
Stir in the poppy seed and parsley. Place in an oven safe dish and bake at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until bubbly.
