Poppy Seed, Noodles, Ham & Peas

Need a quick and easy last minute meal? Try this one! If you leave out the ham and peas it can be a side dish. Add the ham and peas and it’s a meal. Either way, they both are delicious.

In a medium pot on medium heat, melt the butter.

Add the chicken broth and water to the melted butter.

Add noodles and bring to a boil cooking until noodles are cooked al dente. Add frozen peas and stir until they break apart.

Add the ham and stir, cooking another minute or two until hot.

Remove from the heat and stir in the sour cream.

Stir in the poppy seed and parsley. Place in an oven safe dish and bake at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until bubbly.

- 12 oz fine egg noodles

- 2 cups cooked ham pieces

- 1 Tbsp poppy seeds
- 1 Tbsp dried parsley

That sounds good. I could almost picture it with shrimp in the place of the ham. With maybe some bacon too?
