Have a great day Ned!
We like broccoli, but have never tried it like this
It turns out pretty good and you can still add cheese or whatever else you want on top of it. I like it just like this.
works for me, quick and easy !
Thank you Beth!
I love brocolli florets. So easy to make with so much flavour. I use the same ingredients and spices as you with the addition of garlic powder. Yum! 😋
I used to make broccoli my lunch every day. I wanted to lose weight and get healthier. I had lost 72# and when the nurse at the doctor office saw my bloodwork she said she wants my blood. Lol
That sounds like a great tip. I’m trying to eat higher protein and lower carb meals cuz the metabolism goes to hell after 40. 😂 I’ll have to keep this in mind!
I love when fresh vegetables are in season. I just ate a big bowl of asparagus for lunch and I do the same thing with broccoli.
Looks delicious! We usually just put melted cheese on top of the broccoli. Thanks!
I love broccoli so much and I like to eat it different ways. I almost always eat it fresh and keep the frozen for casseroles but I needed to eat it up so it didn’t get freezer burnt. I love cheese on it too Betty, so good!
I must try this, Diane. I rarely think about roasting vegetables, even though I’ve enjoyed them when I done it or eaten them elsewhere.
I like this method for eating frozen broccoli when they aren’t in a casserole. Frozen broccoli tends to be soggy but roasting it, you can crisp it up depending on how long you leave it in the oven.
Roasted veggies are the best. These look great and I like easy.
Thank you Danny!
Yummy looking and your favorite vegetable as I recall. I was not so fancy and when I had the microwave, I steamed them and put parmesan cheese on them. The lazy way.
There are so many ways to prepare broccoli but as long as it tastes delicious I will eat it.
I ate a lot of it when I had my bird as he got a piece of floret daily.
I didn’t know they liked broccoli.
Yes, they do like it a lot. He ate the entire piece every day. I switched to broccoli after there were so many lettuce recalls. He liked the lettuce and spinach better I think, but this was safer and easier to wash.
My husband is frequently stymied by cooking vegetables. He puts them in soups and mentally checks them off the list. Frankly, he loves meat, potatoes, and pasta. I think vegetables, which I love, come more under the heading of medicine to him.🤣 Maybe this recipe would help him.
Haha You are hilarious Linda. I have to say I am just like him but broccoli and corn are at the top of my vegetable list.
I love broccoli, thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome!
Thank you for posting my recipe. Have a great week!
Wonderful! Another way to serve broccoli instead of steaming it. I’m on it tomorrow night!!!
Frozen broccoli is hard to cook without being mushy. This way is definitely my favorite way to eat it when it is frozen, unless it’s in a casserole.
