Poppy Seed, Noodles, Ham & Peas

Do you need a quick and easy last minute meal? Try this one! If you leave out the ham and peas it can be a side dish, add the ham and peas and it’s a meal. Either way, both ways are delicious.

I’d keep the ham and peas
I’m usually not a poppy seed person either but for some reason I like them in this recipe. You definitely could make this without them.
Would never think to put poppy seeds with pasta
It really adds a nice flavor to the pasta.
Oh my!! I’ve only used poppy seed in muffins before (and I love poppy seed). This dish looks like a winner and I’m definitely going to try it. Thanks Diane.
I was lucky to get this recipe at a wedding or baby shower decades ago. I fell in love with it and asked for the recipe, glad I did!
Sounds great.
I make a dish similar, but it has the wide noodles and goat cheese.
I love goat cheese and any pasta will do too!
I forget about poppy seeds!
Other than on homemade buns and this recipe I never use them. No idea why, probably like you and I just forget about them.
My love loves poppyseed dressing as well.
This looks delicious, Diane. Chopped ham is such a wonderful ingredient that adds so much flavour!
Thank you Ab, I love ham so much. My husband can eat it occasionally if it is in a casserole. I like to buy a bunch when it goes on sale at the holidays, it usually has a long expiration date too.
Noodles are always a treat!
I agree, I could eat them every day.
It would make great use of leftover ham. Delicious idea.
How funny that is when I make it. Great minds think a like. Lol
Thank you!
