Chicken Roll-Ups with Broccoli Casserole

Shredded chicken rolled up inside canned croissant dough, with broccoli and a sauce made from creamed soup, milk and cheese then baked in the oven. You will want to save this one, it was so good and it feeds four people.

Spray a 9” x 13” baking dish with cooking spray.

Place shredded cooked chicken on the wide end of each croissant then salt and pepper each one.

Roll each croissant up starting with the big end. Place them evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Place broccoli in all the empty spots surrounding the crescent rolls.

Whisk the soups, milk and cheese together in a bowl then pour over the croissants, spreading to the edge and cover everything.

Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 45 minutes or until bubbly and the croissants are golden brown on top then serve.

    • You know me, I try anything and if it turns out and tastes good I post it. I really loved how this tasted. My husband ate the leftovers the next day, cold, and he said it was just as good as hot. If I can turn something into a casserole I will. Lol

    • Me too Susan. I had all that space between the crescent rolls and it was either try a smaller dish or add the broccoli. The broccoli really elevated the dish and cooked perfectly as did the roll ups.

  1. We often make baked chicken and broccoli (very similar to your recipe), but we’ve never tried the canned croissant dough. Well, I don’t think we get that here in South Africa, but it looks delicious.

  2. This is a very interesting way of using the roll up dough! T has been showing interest in brocolli too so I’ll have to try this to see I can sneak in chicken for him too. 🙏
