Fork Tender Slow Cooker Pork Chops

This recipe makes the best basil, garlic Pork Chops. While it cooks it makes its own gravy. No need to set out knives with this meal, you can cut it with a fork! Serve with some noodles, as I did, or mashed potatoes for a great home cooked meal that is sure to please everyone.

I have to admit, these pork chops look incredibly tasty! We love pork chops and are definitely going to try your recipe – thanks Diane!
I don’t like white meat but these are amazing! You’re welcome Corna!
Looks very tasty Diane
Thank you Sheree 🥰
Looking delicious and easy to eat
Thank you it was so tender and delicious!
yummmm
It is so good, thank you Beth.
Yum and ha – when I first saw the image before reading the post title I thought they were cinnamon rolls 🙂
Hahaha This is one of my favorite meals but if your put it up next to cinnamon rolls, the rolls win!
I do believe I have not had a pork chop since my mom’s been gone. I can see it looks fork tender, just from looking at this picture.
Wow now that surprises me Linda. It’s easy to cook up just one pork chop and if you tried them in a slow cooker, you would never cook them any other way. We have a very small slow cooker that would be the perfect size for you!
I was thinking of getting another slow cooker, just for a small meal like this. I like my slow cooker – same one as your mother-in-law with the different inserts (I like the one with two sections but because I use the slow cooker bags I don’t use it).
Do they make different size bags?
I have only seen the bags for round and oval (like your mother-in-law’s/mine). I guess I am lazy, but using the bag is great with no mess. I remember when they came out with the Reynold’s Cooking Bags. My mom was reluctant to try new things, sticking with her tried-and-true ways. But, this came as a sample in the mail I think and she was hooked. No more having things stick to the pan – easy and less clean-up.
Terry usually does the dishes and he said why waste the money when it’s so easy to clean. Who’s to argue with the man that does the dishes. 🤣
Does Terry have a brother? I always dried and my mom washed the dishes. She told me I was too slow. 🙂
Yes but he passed away. I was like you, mom washed and I dried and put away too. I thought it was fun. 🤣
Oh, I’m sorry Diane. I was being funny, as women would talk about their wonderful husbands and so, if you were single, you’d say “does he have a brother?”
I put away too – Mom was short so I could reach everything easier. 🙂
This looks delicious. Slow or pressure cooked pork is the best. Especially when it just falls apart with a fork. The gravy sounds yum too!
I don’t care for white meat but I always love this recipe. Thank you Ab!
Thank you for reblogging. 🤣
