Ham Salad

A great way to use up any leftover ham from Easter or anytime. I like to put the Ham Salad on a bun or just on a piece of lettuce like a wrap.

That looks great, and a really good idea to use up leftovers.
Thank you Paul, I ate this as a child.
I haven’t had ham salad in forever but your recipe has me craving it.
Why is it we lose track of the good ole recipes? I could make this any day of the year but only do after Easter.
I like the use of sweet relish as a condiment. Looks yum!
Sweet relish adds so much flavor, thank you Ab.
My mom always made a similar salad with the leftover Easter ham!
Have you ever had ground bologna for sandwiches? We had that a lot when I was a kid too.
No, but mom used to fry it and make sandwiches.
When we go to Amish country my husband buys a large unsliced chunk of bologna and he does the same thing.
I like ham on sandwiches better than a ham dinner ! I never though to grind it up, I will have to try that.
I’m with you Susan, it is best on a bun! My mom used to let me work the old fashioned grinder that clamped to the table when I was young. She also let me grind up bologna, ground bologna is another one of my favorite sandwiches.
Oh my! I should mention that to my husband about ground baloney. He just bought a big piece of baloney.
I fix it with Miracle Whip and sweet pickle relish, so good!
Good way to use those Easter leftovers.
I get tired of eating plain ham when we have leftovers. This is like eating something else entirely and it tastes good. Thank you Linda!
Hello. Your ham salad recipe looks like a real good one. I think this salad would be delicious, too, if served in warmed pita bread.
Yes it would be perfect with pita bread too, I never thought about trying it that way. Thank you đŸ¥°
I like ham salad … this looks good, the bun too.
Those buns are amazing! Terry buys them at Meijer. They are nice and sturdy for wet filling like this ham salad.
I’ve seen them at Meijer Diane but never tried them – are those the pretzel-style buns?
No but very flavorful.
I will have to try them.
A wonderful use of leftover Easter ham!
Thank you Mary, I love it because it tastes so different from eating plain ham at Easter.
Nice one.
Thank you Barb!
Sometimes I like a sandwich with just grated cheese on it … but when it comes to a gourmet sandwich, I wouldn’t mind it looking like this one!
Oh yes, toasted cheese is one of my favorites. I only eat them with a fresh garden tomato though. Thank you Corna!
