It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 03-08-24

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared, in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.

If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.

NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.

I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

  2. Tonight here in our palace it is home made pizza with fresh tomato, mozzarella and ricotta topped with a marinara. But…pasta is always a possibility. (With this being a Lenten Friday, no meat.) And a nice Pinot Grigio as a topper.
By the way, goddess, this is a perfect macaroni dish you have here. You’ve raised the bar…AGAIN!

  3. I’m delighted to see this recipe because I have avoided pasta dishes like this because they just don’t do well with my stomach, but I have discovered chickpea pasta so I can’t wait to give this dish a try. I am confused about the name. I thought bruschetta was toppings on some kind of toasted bread??? You know so much about foods that I am hoping you can clarify this for me!

    • I wish I could but I obtained this recipe in a cooking class. I know there is a tomato bruschetta served on bread and is made using basil, tomatoes, garlic, cheese etc. but that’s all I know. I looked on line and there are many recipes called this same name.

  4. I made easy peasy Chicken Parmesan. I pound the chicken, use Italian Bread crumbs to bread it. Fry in hot vegetable oil to brown both sides. Meanwhile cook spaghetti or fettucine noodle. After cooking chicken, spoon pasta sauce on each piece (I used jar sauce as I am away) and sprinkle with grated mozarella cheese. Cook in oven for 20 minutes and serve with pasta and salad.

    • We love chicken parm! When I’m not feeling up to cooking my husband will make it with frozen breaded chicken pattties then add the sauce and cheese. It’s nice and easy for him. Love your way!
