Spinach Florentine Lasagna

Spinach Lasagna Florentine is so delicious and it makes a 9” x 13” panful. My favorite thing about this recipe, other than the taste, is that you can prepare this recipe early in the day so all you have to do is cook it at supper time, if you want to.

  1. Lasagna is an Arab Moor dish .They took it to Venice and built on all islands what we see today . Granada Spain was their home but took over half of world . Pasta even is Moor dish . So too is icecream. Peaches and even toasted bread .I lived 2 years in Arab home when with British army in Tunisia . El mucadem a hidden city of caves in middle of desert four miles off Carthage and two from French border with Algeria .I loved the Turkish delight that is also a Moor creation. Tomato came in 1661 into Rome as fruit .It took another 40 years before the Italian used it with pasta .or even cooked it .They ate fresh as it is a fruit at first .Like the potato in England took even longer to be a cooked meal.It was nearly dumped as rubbish and feed to pigs .Until some one boiled to feed hens and the mash spud was born .1573

  3. As the grandson of a ravioli/macaroni maker, I can say with authority, you hit this one out of the park! This is great stuff.
