It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 02-09-24

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared, in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.
If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.
NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.
I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

Thank you Nigel!
Thank you so much!
I’ve made your dish a number of times and it always comes out great!!
I honestly thought about you when I posted this. I remembered you loved this one GP. Obviously we do too since it’s what was for dinner. Lol
Tonight we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day early. We have a nice filet mignon and crab cakes with a side of asparagus, marscapone mashed potatoes and asparagus with chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert. Saint Valentine’s Day special dinner. So to you and your obviously wonderful husband, Happy and loving Valentine’s Day! 🌹🌹💐🌷💙❤️🍷(You had to knowI would get that wine in somehow)
That sounds amazing as always and much cheaper than eating out!
I will be making Focaccia Pizza tonight. It has become a family favorite
Yum always delicious! Thanks for sharing Missy!
I have a question for you not related to this article. I have a b lack iron pan just like yours, and very often the outside of the pan catches on fire and then sets off my alarm. Do I need to scape and clean the outside of the pan, too much oil in the pan, heat too high, or what? Or maybe I need to put it on a smaller burner (electric burner)? I make chicken and salmon mostly.
Hi Stephen, it sounds to me like it’s time to clean your pan and that you may have a build up of cooked on grease. There would be no reason for cast iron to catch fire otherwise. Here is my link to how I clean my cast iron pans, I hope this helps. https://indianeskitchen.com/2017/04/04/cleaning-cast-iron-pans/ and https://indianeskitchen.com/2017/09/12/recipe-for-seasoning-cast-iron-pans/
Thanks I’ll try that.
We had lunch out so tonight our dinner is strawberry rhubarb pie with a scoop of ice cream.
I love the way you think (and eat) Linda!!!!
Are you cooking up all the snacks for the Big Game tomorrow or will you get a break from the kitchen?
I made scalloped potatoes and ham. 🤣 We don’t really do anything special.
Sounds better than munchies to me!
