Snickerdoodle’s

Snickerdoodle Cookies are an irresistible classic soft cookie. The dough is rolled into a ball, rolled in a cinnamon sugar mixture and baked. Snickerdoodle’s freeze well in case you want to make them ahead of time like I do.

  1. Ohh, those look good, will have to give those a try. I’ve only tried making cookies.a few times with mixed results, it’s not something we really know much of in the UK. Will give you recipe a try. 🙂

  2. I love the name and these look so good. Something about this time of the year that makes me especially enjoy the sugar cinnamon juxtaposition!

  3. The smell of cinnamon in the kitchen – that would stir up a few memories. It makes me remember how good hot buttered toast with cinnamon and brown sugar sprinkled on it was. It’s been years for having that treat too.

    • We ate cinnamon toast all the time as a child too. I actually taught my kids how to make that when then were young. I had an old boy shaker that I think came with a cinnamon sugar in it. I kept it and just made my own and refilled the boy.

      • I loved cinnamon toast and it smelled so good too – now your kids are showing their kids how to make cinnamon toast. I had a shaker too, but it was small and yellow, maybe a shaker from Domino who made sugar.
