It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 11-10-23

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.
If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.
NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.
I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

Wow delicious 😋 Great gif the coming cold nights. Tonight we had a Coconut Basil Chicken Curry made using our Instant Pot 😋
Thank you Randy!
My kind of soup – spicy with something to get your teeth into
The best kind Derrick, thank you!
Thank you

Chorizo has its own special spicy taste that was delicious in this this soup. Thank you Beth 🥰
I love a warming soup at this time of year, Diane.
Me to Sheree, enjoy your weekend.
Thanks Diane, you too
You too Diane
This might be rather nice with your soup https://viewfromtheback.com/2021/07/10/the-musette-ligurian-foccacia/
Oh yes it would be great with my soup!
Wow, that looks so delicious and so colourful!
Thank you Pooja!
My pleasure!
As we recover from the effects of our dear visiting friend, Covid, we are relegated to mostly soup. Tonight will be no exception with chicken broth and some noodles. Your soup looks a whole lot better!
You two can’t get a break! I hope you are both feeling better soon JC. Chicken noodle soup is my next soup to make.
Diane – it’s a good night for hot and spicy soup. Very chilly … no make that COLD here.
I love this weather Linda. I’m not liking the time change though, I hate it getting dark at 5:30. I cleaned out my desk and had a ton of papers and some piled up cardboard to burn. I sat outside for about 2 hours enjoying the birds singing, quiet time and a fire to keep me warm.
We had a very chilly day and I should have been dressed warmer as I never warmed up again after I got home. The weather has been a roller coaster these days. I prefer the cooler weather to the hot weather which drags you down, especially the humidity, but the hot weather brings volatile storms, so cooler weather does not (well ice, but let’s not go there now). Quiet time for you sounded lovely – quiet time is important to me as well. I am NOT happy when people want to walk with me at the Park and discuss their gripes with politics, world events, etc.
That would make me crazy with the people and politics etc. too! You go out to walk for nature not their gripes.
Yes – I have gotten into walking the other way when certain people are there, or looking the other way, pretending I don’t see them. With the election coming up next year, I don’t want to discuss any of it. I listen to the AM radio news first thing in the morning and thru the day – so I don’t want to discuss it here. I’m sure people think I am standoffish, but that is not it at all.
I completely understand. I stopped watching the news because of all the shootings and politics.
I am with you on both the weather and the time change, Diane! Your 2 hour relaxation outside after your desk purge sounds so nice.
I love a good chorizo, and it sounds delicious in your soup.
Thank you Linda I still have leftovers! Lunch tomorrow!
