It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 06-30-23

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.
If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.
NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.
I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.
My “It’s Friday What’s For Dinner” in the picture above is SLOW COOKER CHICKEN GIZZARDS & HEARTS.

Tonight is pizza nite. Fresh dough with marinara sauce and fresh mozzarella. But here’s the kicker…after it is cooked, after the cheese is melted, top it off with prosciutto and some arugula. A Friday nite feast. Mangia figlia. Mangia tutto!
How fascinating JC! I don’t think I have ever has pizza where the toppings are added after the pizza is cooked. Thank you!
No thanks, Diane, this isn’t for me despite these types of dishes being popular in France.
I understand but it is one of my favorites, however, it’s hard to find them anymore. I drive an hour away in hopes of getting some but usually they are already sold.
Each to their own
My contribution this Friday is another chicken recipe but this one’s from the Basque Country, the start tomorrow for the Tour de France https://viewfromtheback.com/2020/03/21/the-musette-basque-chicken/
Thank you Sheree, I do love spicy sausage and chicken!
I may skip this one for the slow cooker Diane, but those are tasty-looking and BIG carrots. 🙂
Haha this is a love it or leave it recipe for sure, however, one of my top recipes looked at.
I remember you said you liked them. My father liked chicken livers – we had them a lot growing up.
Now liver I can’t stand. My mom made calves liver all the time when I was a kid.
I never liked liver either, but liver, bacon and onions for dinner was nicer than chicken livers (for me anyway).
Thanks so much! 🥰
