July 4th Picnic Snacks

If you can’t have a campfire but you love to eat S’mores, try this Skillet S’mores Dip that makes enough for everyone to eat. You use graham crackers to dip into the baked chocolate and toasted marshmallows for the same great taste as cooking the marshmallows over the fire.

Here is another delicious snack all red, white and blue called Fruit & Flipz.

Both looks delicious, but oh my, those S’mores (yummy). Now, let’s see … I have the pan, I just need to buy the ingredients 😁.
We have ours but I will make a campfire so we can roast the marshmallows the old fashioned way this year. The grandkids are so excited.
Marvelous! I must admit.❤️☕️☕️
Thank you for your kind words Aoc!
Wow! Skillet S’mores Dip 😋😋 it looks mouthwatering 😋
Thank you!
Great! Only 7 pounds to go. This will help enormously! But they do look great, especially the second one.
Maybe you could roast one marshmallow? Lol Thank you JC.
Wishing you a happy 4th of July weekend. We’re a few days ahead of you with Canada Day on July 1. Your recipes are perfect for the occasion!
Thank you Ab and have a fantastic Canada Day celebration!
Personally, I don’t get s’mores but then I’m not American
They are probably too sweet for you Sheree. I think it’s because Americans grew up making them, when in Scouts and when we went camping.
You’re correct Diane
S’mores dip! How brilliant!
Thank you Dorothy!
Awesome 4th of July snack ideas!
Thank you Tierney!
Yummy and fun to create!
Thank you Mary!
Ooey-gooey and delicious in case it rains and without making a really big mess – ingenious Diane!
Thank you Linda, hopefully no rain this year! Our neighbor shoots off a commercial style display every year. We sit on the porch or in the cabana and watch them.
I hope you don’t have what we got today Diane – rain all day and about to have storm #3 – your garden would be very happy though! That sounds nice … especially that you don’t even have to leave your house.
We really lucked out with the storms but we did get some much needed rain. I hope you didn’t get hit too bad Linda. The garden has really taken off since the rain came. Cucumbers, tomatoes, green peppers, poblano peppers, jalapeño peppers and more.
We got a lot of rain and boy was it humid this morning 93%. The grass is green and lush again and my neighbor’s magnolia tree is about ready to bloom (second time this year). I wish I could have given you some of our rain Diane. Even though it poured for a solid hour, it did not oversoak anything thankfully.
My husband loves Smores! Happy 4th July Diane! Our Canada Day is July first 🙂
I’m with your husband, such a delicious sweet treat! Have a fantastic Canada Day with no fires! Today was the first day we haven’t had smoke from there. It is so sad when I think about the people and animals.
Yes I feel so sad about our wildfires and everything and everyone they affect
Thanks for this. I haven’t had s’mores in ages, probably in at least 40 years.
You’re very welcome! I make sure we have them once a year on the 4th of July. If we don’t have the grandkids over, I will put one graham cracker on a plate, top with marshmallows and microwave a few seconds until the marshmallow puffs up. I remove the plate and immediately place the chocolate on top of the marshmallow and the other graham cracker. This gives me my yearly fix. Lol
