Game Day Chicken Parmesan Sliders

Slider buns filled with spaghetti sauce, frozen breaded chicken patties (cooked) and cheese. Butter the top bun and sprinkle with sesame seeds for an easy and delicious game day snack that will disappear fast!

Spray a 9” x 13” oven safe dish with cooking oil.

Place the bottom half of the slider buns into the prepared dish, sliced side up. Place the dish under the broiler until the buns are toasted a golden brown then set aside.

Cook the chicken patties according to the package directions.

Once the chicken patties are cooked, placed spaghetti sauce on the toasted bottom buns.

Place the cooked chicken patties on top of the spaghetti sauce.

Sprinkle the chicken with cheese.

Place the dish back in the oven and broil until the cheese is melted.

Place the top of the buns on the sliders and brush with melted butter.

Sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds (optional) and broil until buns lose their shiny butter look, then serve!
UPDATE ***My next batch will be made by adding the spaghetti sauce on top of the cooked chicken patty instead of the bottom half of the bun. I felt the bun was too soggy with the spaghetti sauce on it even though I toasted the bun. The recipe card will reflect the change***

This sounds great, Diane. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Kellye and you are very welcome. ❤️
Ooooh… I can see these being a sure-fire fav with my kiddos. Thanks for the inspiration!!
You’re welcome! Just the right size for kids too.
We do something similar when feeling like a quick and lazy dinner. We substitute mozzarella cheese, add sandwich pepperoni, maybe serve with a side of pasta….
Oh I like the pepperoni addition and of course I could eat pasta every day. You are right, it is a great lazy day dinner that is filling. I made meatball sliders for dinner tonight.
Gotta love meatball sliders.
We definitely did! Lol
Reblogged this on https:/BOOKS.ESLARN-NET.DE.
Thank you so much for the reblog Michael!
So yummy! I can smell it through the screen and would grab some instantely. 🙂 Thanks , Diane! I think this will be realized soon. I only need to convince my cook. 😉 Best wishes, Michael
Thank you Michael, you are so kind! We had meatball sliders today, I’ll be posting it soon.
I’m sure these were a hit!
Yes they were, we make chicken parmesan all the time so I knew these would be a win-win. Thank you Dorothy!
Lovely recipe but will do it without chicken for sure ! Blessings to you D dearest! 🙏🏼💛🙌
Veggie burger, tofu, tomato slice, etc. so many possibilities! Thank you Tammie.
Oh yeahhhhhh …. most welcome!
Perfect
Thank you Beth!
Thank you for the reblog!
Good tip on the tomato sauce. I’ll bet you could make this vegetarian by using eggplant patties.
Absolutely Bernadette! Thank you for your wonderful input as always. Great tip for all vegetarians or just to save calories.
Well now I’m hungry !
We still have 4 left! Lol
I’ll be right over lol
Go Eagles!!
Hahaha Since Ohio State lost I will allow that comment Matt! 😂
Perfect game day snack!
Thank you Tierney!
These look amazing!! I would love these for myself if I could find a GF way. But I wonder for my husband and kids about doing a Buffalo Chicken? Any ideas?
I need to read up on GF. So many readers ask me about it and I am not familiar with it. Is it just the bread in this recipe you can’t have? You can use any GF roll to make these.
Not just a game day snack, but an any day snack! Easy-peasy and looks really delicious!
Yes! Great for the parents when the kids bring home friends too (or the grown up kids). Thank you!
Oh, how wonderful looking – do you have any left over from the Big Game as I’ll be over!
I will make a new batch just for you! Thank you Linda 🥰
I’ll be right over Diane – oops, too slippery to drive. Will be there for SuperBowl snack time next year then.
Sounds good to me Linda!
These do look good. We did sliders as well, but with ham and turkey slices and cheese on top. They were delicious.
That sounds super delicious too Carla. That would be a fun one to let the grandkids make themselves. 💕
