It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 8-19-22

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.

If someone wants your recipe and asks there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe, however it may take me a few days to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam. NO SPAM WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.

I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

I will not be commenting on your ”It’s Friday What’s For Dinner” recipe as this is your recipes to share with everyone.

  1. Tator tot casserole with organic tator tots, cheddar cheese, eggs, half and half, garlic, lots of bell pepper, green onions, salt and pepper 🙂

  2. Ooh!! Everything I love is in this recipe! I’m craving this right now and it’s not even 9AM in NY!!

We’ve been having issues with our kitchen pipes since our return from vacation and until we can get them repaired I’ve been grilling instead of cooking inside and trying to reduce the number of utensils I use. I made poached salmon again last night but this time on the grill. I sprayed Pam on a large piece of tin foil then began adding my ingredients: salmon fillets sprinkled with seasoned salt, baby corn, asparagus and thinly sliced onion. I splashed everything with white wine, plenty of butter and lemon slices. I made a “tent” out of the tin foil so everything was nicely packaged and placed that tin foil envelope onto a cookie tray so I could easily slide it onto the hot grill. It only had to cook for about 5 minutes as the salmon and veggies were all quite thin. When done I carefully slid the cookie sheet under the tin foil and removed it from the grill. Everything was cooked to perfection in a nice lemon butter sauce. Clean-up was a breeze; we used paper plates (!) so we were able to ditch the plates and the tin foil after dinner. The only things I had to wash were our utensils and the spatula I used to move the food onto our elegant paper plates lol! Our kitchen sink pipes were very grateful!
