This was SO good. I thought it was going to taste like our beef stew but it didn’t. I bet the wild boar was excellent in it as well Kevin.

You won’t be sorry if you make this one. Yes I had my surgery last Thursday so it’s been a week. Stitches out Friday next week, they are already driving me nuts. I’m so glad it’s over, now time to heal. Thank you for asking. 💕

Thank you Janet. It was a fabulous recipe. I thought it was going to taste like beef stew, not at all! It was so strange though, I felt like I should have served it with something like noodles or a vegetables but after tasting it, it was perfect all by itself.

That’s what I thought too but it was so different than beef stew. It is very thick and the carrot and onion helped make the thick sauce. Do give it a try Ab, it was amazing.

You turn even plain potatoes into Haute Cuisine, Diane! I know what I’m talking about because potatoes still remind me of the horrors of the boarding school kitchen. Lol xx Michael
