Blueberry Loaf Cake

This Blueberry Loaf Cake is golden on the outside, moist on the inside and topped with cinnamon sugar. This is not a bread but cake and such a nice change from other blueberry recipes.

This looks beautiful Diane, soft and tender, and a blueberry (or two) in every bite! 🫐

Looks scrumptious, and since I love all things blueberry, will definitely be making it. Thing is, I’ll probably devour the entire loaf in one day. lol

I will make two then…lol.

No I just meant you could eat it all and say it was small. Lol But once you taste it you may want to make two!

I can always freeze one for later. I always bake two loaves when I make banana nut bread, eat one, then freeze the other to have in a month or two.

Oh yes this would freeze well.

It’s definitely a cake … maybe thanks to that wonderful cinnamon sugar on top!
We just had the last blueberries this morning for breakfast (not so fortunate like you who have a tree in the garden), but maybe I’ll buy a container tomorrow and try this recipe – it really looks delicious!

Oh, this looks really nice. I made a cake similar with glazed cherries the other day.

Oh yes! I love blueberries but I would definitely say I love cherries more. In fact, my hubby just bought me some today at the store. Thank you Paul!

Especially tomorrow with the 8-12” of snow that has started. I want to make my strawberry rhubarb pie tomorrow and I am praying the power doesn’t go out. Thanks Ab!

This looks delicious and Summery on a snowy Winter night. I think I mentioned before my mom, like you, froze blueberries for Winter and would make hot blueberry muffins in the dead of Winter – yum.

Thank you Linda and snowy for sure! How much snow are you supposed to get?

Well we were supposed to get 18 inches over Wednesday and Thursday. Due to the warm weather, it rained/freezing rain until mid-day, so we only got six inches of snow yesterday and we are supposed to get four inches today. It is snowing right now. How did you do – they said you might get slammed today.

We ended up with about 10-12 inches but no ice thank God!

You lucked out Diane! We had the ice the first day and I haven’t gotten rid of it in my driveway – it looks like I haven’t shoveled – maybe after today it will be better as we got to 42 degrees! Wish that was it for Winter – wishful thinking.

Ice is awful, I’m ready for spring. I’m hoping I heal fast from both surgeries because May starts all the outside work.

Yes, you just got healed up last time and had to lay the mulch (with Terry’s help as I recall). I went for a walk today, tippy-toeing around the ice at the Park. I’m so ready for Spring!
