Ah this is another beverage I got myself in trouble with when I became of drinking age lol (follow up to my comment on your White Russian post) 🙂
Hahaha this can be dangerous too.
Just stopped by the Chill Zone last night for Asti, Beth is bringing home OJ tonight. We are ready for New Years Day morning refreshments!
Sounds like the start to a great year!
Good for the Jan. 1 breakfast or brunch.
Absolutely JC! Happy New Year!
Me too, seems like the popular drink for wedding and baby showers here.
I love good mimosas.
I agree Christy, good for any special occasion.
A few years back, Dan won a bottle of champagne on a cruise ship. We really don’t drink but brought it to dinner to share with our table mates. Our friends suggested asking for orange juice and making mimosas. It was a great idea! The bottle of champagne was empty by the end of our dinner. I am sure this recipe will be very popular!
How fun that must have been, I bet your table mates appreciated it too. I love it because it doesn’t have a strong alcohol taste. Happy New Year Betty!
This would be very nice right about now!
I agree, it can take the edge off and taste good. Lol
Well that is a good way to start off the new year – they are already shooting off fireworks here more than two hours before 2022 arrives.
Oh my that is early. I live in the country and they are all over here too, but they didn’t start until midnight.
We had not only fireworks but people shooting off guns – that’s something new and SCARY.
We have neighbors that target shoot right behind our property but facing our house! Our house is far enough away but our yard where the kids play is not. I will be out there with the grandkids and make them come inside. I called the sheriff but he said there is nothing we can do about it.
That’s terrible Diane – why can’t the sheriff enforce some ordinance? I hate hearing that and they should have to go to a gun range for target practice.
Because we live in the country and the sheriff said the target had a mound behind it yet we have holes in our pole barn!
That’s still awful – I’m sure if you pointed out the holes in the pole barn, the sheriff would say it could have been anyone who shot the holes. Terrible!
Hahaha there is one right down the road!
Look at this color!!
Thank you Nikki, have a great weekend.
