Butterball Cookies

My family has made these Butterball Cookies for as long as I can remember. We have always called them Butterballs because they are made with butter. I know there are a lot of other names for them as well, however, they will always be called Butterball Cookies in our family. These are cookies for the person that doesn’t have a huge sweet tooth as there is very little sugar in these cookies.

Cookies with little sugar in them are cookies for my family. Butter cookies will be a hit this Christmas. Thank you and best regards
You’re welcome and have a great day Ultra.
I like that these are not overly sweet!
Yes and even better they can be eaten without the powdered sugar. Thank you Dorothy.
Less sugar usually means more flavor. Not everything has to be sweet. Butter is God’s gift.
I agree! I remember when I was younger and margarine became all the rage, I still don’t like it.
My favorite
They are always on my cookie trays. It is my mother in laws favorite cookie and any that are left go home with her.
You had me at butter! And I will definitely have it with the powdered sugar. It’s the holidays after all! 😊
Me too Ab. The cookie itself isn’t super sweet and the hint of powdered sugar compliments it perfectly.
Thank you for sharing❤️
No eggs … 👀 … that’s interesting. I would love to try these cookies!
No eggs! These are rolled and after they bake are the same size. They are so good and bake at a low temperature for a long time.
I like these Diane – they melt in your mouth and like Buckeyes, you cannot stop with just one.
Thank you Linda. I am going to make a new one that is chocolate but I may change the shape.
Chocolate melting in your mouth – even better!
I make these cookies for my daughter every year at Christmas. I put walnuts in them though.. She loves these cookies.
You have to make her the chocolate butterball cookies I just posted. They were amazing too.
Thankk you, I will check them out.😊👣
