I have a long tip that I use to fill cupcakes and doughnuts. Thanks for sharing the recipe for the chocolate moose.
You’re welcome. ❤️
Mmm. The more chocolate, especially unexpectedly tucked inside a cupcake, the better, I say! 😋
I agree! This was a triple chocolate cupcake. Thanks Ab!
I like the “old-fashioned” way of frosting cupcakes–without the big swirl of frosting on top. With the lovely mousse filling, only a moderate amount of frosting is needed.
I agree especially with the mousse filling, too much frosting and you lose the flavor of the mousse.
Love a cupcake with a surprise inside!
This was the first time I ever tried it and now I wonder why! Lol
Oh my!! Here we are – already in bed – but now I’m up and on my way to the kitchen to see if there’s any chocolate … all because of your yummy post of these chocolate mouse filled cupcakes!
Thank you and sweet dreams! Lol
Really delicious, 😋.
Thank you I had to share some with family so I didn’t eat them all. Lol

These look really yummy, especially with the chocolate filling as well! 🙂
Thank you Paul! ❤️
Chocolate cake with chocolate filling with chocolate icing. Wow! Chocolate is supposed to help lower your cholesterol. I’m not sure that’s what the nutritionist intended, but it would work with my diet.
Hahaha I was debating on calling it Triple Chocolate Cupcakes but the mousse tasted SO good I had to use it in the title. Thank you!
I wish there was an emoji with a beautiful cake and a person just drooling next to it!!! 😁😁 This looks lovely!
Awe how sweet of you Jo! I wish I could send you some they were so delicious. I may have to make just the mousse next time.
Mmmmmmm!! 😁
Yummy! Thank you!!!!! xx Michael
You’re very welcome Michael! Enjoy your day. ❤️
You are very fancy with your cupcakes Diane – bonus chocolate!
Thank you Linda! I was laying in bed and this idea just came to me to try. It turned out better than I could have ever expected.
They looked good Diane. Seeing the chocolate mousse title made me think I’ll look in my mom’s cookbook – she made something easy with chocolate pudding, Cool Whip (or maybe powdered Dream Whip) and she put in a cup of coffee. We always used instant coffee, so she made a cup, let it cool. It was delicious. Surely it can’t be that difficult.
Interesting that’s one I have never heard of and it sound delicious.
It was very good. I liked angel cake, but my mom didn’t care for it – said it was too plain. So she would make up a batch of it and slather it on the angel cake. When my neighbor Marge moved next door, she liked angel cake, so we used to split one. They are always so large, so that worked perfectly.
Nice to have neighbors like that!
Yes, we’d laugh sometimes about slinging a half-angel cake over the fence. Back in the day, she had a garden and I’d come home from work and see a bag hanging on the fence with tomatoes mostly. More “good ol’ days stuff.”
I will be dreaming tonight (reading this post before bed) about this yumminess!
That is so funny I thought up this recipe while I was laying in bed! Hahaha I do my best work thinking in bed.
Oh wow – these seem like little pieces of heaven.
I was so excited to taste them because I had never made anything like this. According to my family it was a total success. I had to give most of it away or I would have eaten it all. 😂 Thank you so much!
Ohhh, chocolate…… Love the sound of these.
Thank you Carla they turned out so good. It’s amazing what I think up in bed. 😂
