Easy Blueberry Crisp
I made this Blueberry Crisp with my homegrown blueberries. The bottom is a delicious blueberry mixture then it is topped with a crumb topping and baked in the oven. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, optional, or serve at room temperature.

I definitely eat my share right off the bushes. lol
Yum!
Thank you Tierney! Grandkids thought so too…lol
I love blueberries, so would probably love this.
I let my grandkids have a piece for breakfast. I said it’s fruit and oats so it must be healthy! 🤣😂🤣
I agree, totally.
This looks so delicious! Many years ago I would pick fresh blueberries and make crisps for our summer desserts.
I keep waiting for my blueberry bushes to die off, they are about 25 years old and still producing. Thanks!
I have all these ingredients! Might try this soon… wish me luck, I burn water 🙂
Hahaha you got this! Enjoy!

That looks delicious Diane – we used to have “crisp” for blueberries occasionally, mostly peach, but it was always so tasty.
I have never tasted a bad fruit crisp. They are so easy to make and delicious. Thank you Linda!
Well now is the season to try ’em all out Diane. Enjoy!!
a very delicious recipe
Thanks so much!
pleasure!
Can I have some please? Even more delicious with homegrown blueberries 😋😋
I agree that homegrown is so much better. I think because it is just picked, no preservatives or sprays and at the peak of flavor. Have a great day!
Yum! And oh now delish! How wonderful to get to use your very own blueberries!
I will be sad when I don’t have them anymore. They are about 25 years old and every year I feel blessed they are still producing. Thank you Nancy!
That is wonderful!
Looks so yummy !! 😂💕
Thank you!!!!❤️
My pleasure !! 💜
wow yummilicious!!
Thank you I love anything with fruit!
Diane, I want to compliment you on the layout of your recipes. It’s easy to learn the cooking lessons and then follow the recipe that comes after the lesson. Do you plan to write a cookbook?
I want to but due to the virus I have had my grandkids a lot. Some day I am hoping! Thank you for you words of encouragement EmilyAnn!
Thanks for the recipe. Now in Poland it is the season for black forest blueberries and blueberries.
best regards
You’re welcome! I wonder if black forest blueberries are what we call wild blueberries?
I love crisps. It’s so nice not having to worry that something will go wrong with a crust! Will definitely try your recipe, Diane.
Thank you Tanja. I agree any crisps are a no fail.

One more great recipe made from blueberry …
Thanks!
Thank you!
So tasty
Thank you it always seems to taste better when you grow your own too. I like free….lol
😊
Oh this makes me pine for the wonderful blueberry bushes I once had. But the vanilla ice is not optional.
I have had my blueberry bushes for over 25 years. I am grateful every year they produce now. I doubt they have very many years left.
My girls now tell theirs of magical summer nights sneaking out to the blueberry bushes to gorge. Of course, what mother would complain, given the nutrition?
So true!
I love blueberry anything, so this is right up my alley!
Me too! I love growing my own, I have two bushes and that gives me plenty to freeze for the entire year.
Blueberries never survive long enough in this house to bake with them. But if I can sneak some in I’ll give it a try. Can you substitute granola for the oats?
I never have but I think it would be delicious!
thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe
You’re welcome! I wanted to comment on your blog but I couldn’t find a comment button. Anyhow, I like the part about eating chocolate for a few weeks to relieve stress!! Win-Win!
