One of my followers said they couldn’t wait to see what I was going to do with the PIZZA DOUGH recipe I posted, before that I posted a PIZZA SAUCE recipe. This is my Cast Iron Personal Pan Pizza recipe. We like to make our own individual Cast Iron Personal Pan Pizza’s. You don’t have to use a cast iron pan, a regular pizza pan works too, but we love how the pizza turns out in cast iron pans.

  2. Oh wow – I could eat this little pizza right now … I was thinking you made it on the stovetop and I immediately was cursing my mother for giving my father her small cast iron frying pan when he took the job in Ohio, then realized it was in the oven. I was wondering how you got it to bake on the stovetop. 🙂

      • Oh yes, I can remember my mom running for the butter for her hand on that small cast iron pan. I wish she still had it here as it was seasoned … she’d had it as long as she’d been married, and my grandmother had a huge one she’d make fried potatoes and onions in … she could hardly lift it. Your pizzas looked delicious Diane.

  3. Thank you so much for sharing “the rest of the story” as the pizza dough seemed only the beginning!! Lol!! Love the idea of cooking the pizzas in cast iron – deep dish style. I’ve done thin crust pizza on a cast iron griddle and love the crispy crust! Will have to try yours– thanks again!!
