French Toast
I can eat French Toast for any meal on any day! All that cinnamon, nutmeg, milk, egg and butter cooked into a thick piece of bread drizzled in syrup….YUM! OK not just any syrup, I need Mrs. Butterworth. I never cared for the real maple syrup. I’ll eat it if that’s all there is, but in our house it’s Mrs. Butterworth!

My hubby loves cinnamon French toast which he slathers with real maple syrup. I usually make it with slices of stale brioche.

My all time favorite breakfast! My mom made the best French toast with sourdough bread. 🙂 And I agree, Ms Butterworth for the win!

French toast is one of the few things I can make. I learned how when I was about 10. And I prefer syrups like Mrs. Butterworths too rather than the real stuff.
