Teriyaki Sauce or Marinade
Don’t ever buy Teriyaki Sauce again! This is so easy to make with seven simple ingredients that you probably have in your cupboard right now. I used to buy a bottle and keep it in the refrigerator for who knows how long! Now I just make it fresh every time.

This sounds good! I’ve made Asian sauces and marinades using ketchup before and couldn’t believe how well it blended in. Thanks for the recipe!

Haven’t you ever tried Teriyaki chicken? That is one of my favorite ways to eat chicken.

I will do that Diane. My parents were not big on sweet-and-sour anything so my mom never used it as a marinade or at all for that matter. She made one kind of Oriental dish, chop suey, and did that once a year and used soy sauce but no dishes using teriyaki.

I often cook soy sauce with honey and a clove of garlic, a bit of ginger, then keep it in the fridge for a few days use. Since its cooked, I can serve it with rice roll (like sushi) straight away or can season the food on the pan 😊
